Eric Stewart

Eric Michael Stewart ( born January 20, 1945 in Droylsden, Greater Manchester ) is a British rock singer, guitarist and songwriter.

He was a member of 10cc and worked during his career, among others, Wayne Fontana & The Mindbenders, Ramases, Hotlegs, Paul McCartney, Agnetha Fältskog, Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson.

Eric Stewart was the first by John Lennon, with the ex- Beatle Paul McCartney a songwriting partnership of equals was received (as opposed to the temporary co-authors Linda McCartney and Denny Laine ). To be found on the McCartney albums Press to Play (1986 ) a total of six pieces of the composer duo McCartney / Stewart. Together with Gouldmann they controlled yet the song Do not Break the Promises in the 10cc - reunion album Meanwhile (1992 ) at.
