Eric Sturgess

Eric William Sturgess ( born May 10, 1920 in Johannesburg, † 14 January 2004) was a South African tennis player.

He won three times in the fifties the Swedish Open, and even the International German Tennis Championships (1952 ) in Hamburg. He also won in 1949 with Sheila Piercey Summers and 1950 with Louise Brough in Wimbledon mixed doubles.

For South Africa, he played 18 times in the Davis Cup and has 13 games to decide for themselves.
