Eric Warren Singer Eric Singer ( born August 1, 1968 in Los Angeles, California) is an American screenwriter who was famous for the movies The International and American Hustle internationally.

Life and career

Eric Warren Singer, born 1968 in Los Angeles, returned to his studies at Boston University back in his hometown to make a career in Hollywood. Since the mid- 1990s, Singer has worked in the film industry in various capacities. He began in 1995 as a writer for the animated series Æon Flux, where he wrote the script for the episode The Purge. In 2009 he wrote for the German director Tom Tykwer the screenplay for the political thriller and banks thriller The International. The main roles Clive Owen, Naomi Watts and Armin Mueller-Stahl played. Eric Warren Singer took over in the film, even a small guest role as a cashier. 2014 he was with director David O. Russell for Best Original Screenplay for the crime drama American Hustle with the AACTA International Award and an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA nomination honored. In addition, Singer hired for the film in the role of Executive Producer.
