Erie BayHawks

The Erie BayHawks are a U.S. basketball team that is based in Erie, Pennsylvania since 2008 and plays in the NBA Development League.

The " Bay " comes from Presque Isle Bay, is located on the Erie, and the " Hawks " in the name is an allusion to the wild life and the history of war in Erie. Owner of the BayHawks Steve Demetriou.

So far, the BayHawks were the farm team of the Cleveland Cavaliers (2008-2011); the Philadelphia 76ers (2008-2009 ); the Toronto Raptors (2009-2011) and the New York Knicks (since 2011).

So far, the BayHawks were four times in the D -League playoffs: 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
