Erik Buell Racing

Erik Buell Racing ( EBR) is an American manufacturer of road and racing motorcycles, based in East Troy, Wisconsin. Erik Buell founded the company after the dissolution of his former company Buell by the parent company Harley -Davidson in 2009. Initially only was the production of thoroughbred racing machines that should be based on the Buell 1125R, planned. It is now planned for the year 2014, the beginning of a series production of street motorcycles.

Ownership

On 1 July 2013 bought the Hero Moto Corp, an Indian motorcycle manufacturer, 49.2 % of the shares for approximately $ 25 million.

Motorcycle Models

1190RR

The 1190RR is a revised version of the Buell 1125R. She came to professional racing series for use.

1190RS

In June 2011 the first street model was presented. The 1190RS is driven by a V-type engine with 1190 cc and an output of 175 hp. The number was limited to 100.

1190RX

The 1190RX shown on October 16, is to be produced as a first bike from Erik Buell Racing in series. Production is scheduled to begin in 2014.

Future models

Two other models have already been published on the manufacturer's website. The previously designated as " SX " and "AX " Motorcycles are based on the platform of 1190RX.
