Erik Condra

Erik Condra ( born August 6, 1986 in Trenton, Michigan ) is an American professional ice hockey player standing since 2009 with the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Erik Condra began his career as a hockey player with the Texarkana Bandits, for the American Hockey League, he was active in the Junior League North in the 2003/04 season. He spent the following season with the Lincoln Stars junior team in the United States Hockey League. Then he attended from 2005 to 2009, the University of Notre Dame and played for their hockey team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With his University of team winger in 2007 and 2009 won the championship in each of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, in their All- Rookie team, he was previously elected in 2006. In 2009 he was also elected to the second all-star team of the CCHA.

Already in NHL Entry Draft 2006 Condra had been selected by the Ottawa Senators in the seventh round as a total 211 players. For their farm team Binghamton Senators he was in the 2009/10 season his debut in professional hockey, scoring in the American Hockey League in 80 games eleven goals and gave 27 templates. The following season the Americans began first with the Binghamton Senators in the AHL before he comes for the first time on 15 February 2011 in the home game against the New York Islanders for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League action. He then spent the time until the end of the season as a regular player in the NHL's Ottawa. Due to the lockout in the American professional league signed Erik Condra on 16 October a contract with EV Füssen, who was for 30 days.

On 12 November he signed a temporary contract with the Bundesliga club SC Riessersee to play matches in a higher category club for the possibly imminent end of the lockout.
