Erik Fosnes Hansen

Erik Fosnes Hansen ( born June 6, 1965 in New York) is a Norwegian writer.

Life

Erik Fosnes Hansen grew up in Oslo. In 1985 his literary debut, the novel Falkenturmstrasse, he wrote at the age of 18 years. Already his second book chorale at the end of travel on members of the Titanic ship's band became a bestseller and was founded in 1990 with one of the most important Norwegian literary prizes, the Riksmålsprisen excellent. Fosnes Hansen is also active as a reviewer and literary critic for the newspaper Aftenposten, and author of a humorous basic course for chef incompetent men, Kokebok for Otto. 2001 Fosnes Hansen portrayed in Underveis (translated: The Move ), the Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise. Erik Fosnes Hansen lives and works in Oslo. He is a member of the Norwegian Academy and the Norwegian Cultural Council.
