Erik Johansson (ice hockey)

Erik Gunnar " Epa " Johansson ( born September 29, 1927 in Södertälje, † December 16, 1992 ) was a Swedish professional ice hockey player.

Career

At club level, Erik Johansson played exclusively for his hometown club Södertälje SK. From 1944 to 1959, he joined with his team in Division 1, the then highest Swedish league, at. With his team he won the national championship in 1953 and 1956.

Internationally

For Sweden, Johansson participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in part in Oslo, where he won the bronze medal with his team. As the best European team Sweden was also European champion.
