Erik Kynard

Erik Kynard Jr. ( born February 3, 1991, Toledo, Ohio) is an American high jumper.

As a student at Kansas State University, he was in 2011 and 2012 NCAA champion.

At the World Athletics Championships 2011 in Daegu, he left in qualifying. In 2012 he was second in the U.S. elimination fights for the Olympic Games in London, where he won the silver medal.

The following year he was U.S. champion and fifth at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow.
