Erik Lindberg
Johann Erik Lindberg ( born December 31, 1873 in Stockholm; † August 28, 1966 ) was a Swedish sculptor and engraver.
Life
Erik Lindberg was born in 1873 in Stockholm and studied from 1892 to 1899 with his father John Lindberg and 1893-1897 at the Art Academy in Stockholm sculpture. After living in France and Italy, he settled as a sculptor and medalist in Sweden, from 1920 he was a member of the Academy of Arts. In the period 1916-1944 he worked as an engraver for the Mint of Stockholm. Lindberg died 1966.
