Erjon Bogdani

Erjon Bogdani ( born April 14, 1977 in Tirana ) is a former Albanian football player who acted on the striker position. In 2013 he became a professional football game back officially.

Career

Association

Bogdani began his professional career at Partizan Tirana, with whom he won the 1997 Albanian Cup, before he moved to NK Zagreb 1998.

From 2000 to 2003 he played for Reggina Calcio two seasons in Serie A and 2001/ 02 in Serie B. In the 2003/ 04 season he was loaned to Salernitana (Series B ), where he completed all 38 season matches and scored eight goals shot. 2004/ 05 he was loaned out again, this time to Hellas Verona, where he was charged with 17 goals second best scorer of the Serie B after Gionatha Spinesi of Arezzo. He was also - as again two years later - Albania elected Footballer of the Year.

He played from 2005 to 2006 in Serie A with Siena, where he had next to Mario Frick a regular place. During the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 Bogdani changed hands for 4.5 million euros to Chievo Verona. In the summer of 2007, the AS Livorno him loaned out for a season. There he was, however, usually only as the Joker to use and was able to achieve only two hits in 28 missions. In July 2010, he signed as a loose association player of AC Cesena after his contract was not renewed at Chievo Verona. For winter break Bogdani returned to Siena and signed a two -year contract.

His debut in the Albanian national was Bogdani 1996. Since he played 73 games in which he hit 18 times and their leading scorer, he has since 2011. His last international match he performed on March 26, 2013 against Lithuania.
