Erlend Mamelund ( born May 1, 1984 in Helset ) is a native of Norway handball player. He is 1.97 m tall and weighs 99 kg.

Mamelund, who plays for the Norwegian first division Haslum HK and for the Norwegian men's national handball team ( shirt number 11) runs, is mostly used as a left back player. His siblings Håvard and Linn Therese also played handball in the highest Norwegian league.

He began in his hometown Helset with the handball game. In 2001 he moved to Norwegian club Haslum HK, with whom he made ​​his debut in the Norwegian Posten and 2005 champion and cup winner was. 2007 moved Mamelund in the German handball league for HSG Nordhorn -Lingen. In January 2013 his contract was dissolved with Montpellier and he returned to Haslum HK.

Erlend Mamelund has played 115 international matches for the Norwegian men's national handball team, and took with Norway also participates in the World Championships 2007 in Germany and 2009 in Croatia.
