Erlendur Patursson

Erlendur Patursson ( born August 20, 1913 in Kirkjubøur, Faroe Islands, † June 16, 1986 ) was a Faroese writer and as a politician, co-founder of the Republican Tjóðveldisflokkurin.

Erlendur was the son of Jóannes Patursson and his Icelandic wife Guðný Eiríksdóttir. He married Morid, nee Holm from Hvalba.
