Erling Kagge

Erling Kagge ( born January 15, 1963) is a Norwegian lawyer and adventurer.

Together with his fellow countryman Børge Ousland he took part in the first unsupported expedition to the North Pole in 1990.

1992/93 he completed the first unsupported solo expedition to the South Pole, which he reached on 7 January 1993. The 1310 km long stretch he put it back in 51 days.

In 1994 he climbed Mount Everest. It was therefore the first person who has obtained these three extreme points of the world.
