Ermengarde of Tours

Ermengarde (* 795, † March 20 851 ) was a daughter of Count Hugo of Tours from the house of Etichonen. She married mid-October, 821 in Thionville the Carolingian co-emperor Lothair I ( 795-855 ). Two years before her death, 849, they founded the abbey Erstein in Alsace, in which it lies buried.
