Ermentrude of Orléans
Irmentrud ( born September 27, at 827-830; † October 6 869 in the Abbey Hasnon ), daughter of Count Odo of Orléans and the Ingeltrud of Fezensac. Her ancestors include Charles Martel, Pepin I the Elder and the Lombard king Desiderius.
13-14. December 842 she married in Quierzy Charles the Bald, King of the West Frankish kingdom. 867 she separated from her husband ( reason was the divorce of Lothar II of his wife Theutberga because of the mistress Waldrada ) and retired to the Abbey of Hasnon at Valenciennes, where she died two years later. She was buried in the Basilica of Saint- Denis.
