Ermes Muccinelli

Ermes Muccinelli ( born July 28, 1927 in Lugo (RA ), Italy, † 4 November 1994 in Savona, Italy ) was an Italian football player.

Muccinelli called " Mucci ", is considered one of the most legendary right winger in the history of Juventus.

Career

In the club

Ermes Muccinelli began his professional career at Juventus, for which he, in a 4-0 against U.S. Triestina celebrated his Serie A debut on 24 November 1946. At Juve he played until 1955, and again in season 1958/59, after he finished his career. From 1955 to 1958 he was at Lazio under contract.

For Juventus Muccinelli completed a total of 244 games, scoring 61 goals and was two Italian championships and a Coppa Italia celebrate. He had his most successful season 1951/52, when he was able to contribute 17 hits to win the title of Juventus and along with his strike partners Giampiero Boniperti and John Hansen Juventus led to 98 goals this season in 38 games. For Lazio, he ran to a total of 93 times and scored 20 goals.

In the National Team

In the Italian national discretion Muccinelli debuted on March 5, 1950 in a 3-1 victory for the Italians against Belgium, in which he scored two goals at once. In the following years he took part in the World Cup 1950 in Brazil and the 1954 World Cup in Switzerland with Italy. His last international game for the Azzurri played Muccinelli on April 25, 1957 in a 1-0 against Northern Ireland. Overall, he played 15 times for the Azzurri, scoring four goals.
