Ernst Barre Private Brewery
The private brewery Ernst Barre GmbH is a brewery in the Westphalian town Luebbecke in Minden- Lübbecke and has established its roots in 1842 by Johann Ernst Barre brewery. In terms of beer production, the company is in addition to its direct competitor, the Herford Brewery, the largest brewery in Eastern Westphalia and is thus regionally influential. History

Barre's World of Brewing
In the disused since 1985, building of the old fermentation and storage cellar of the brewery was built on 1000 m² a museum with an attached tavern and a souvenir shop.
Since opening in October 2001, it is the only one of its kind in East Westphalia -Lippe. Among the exhibits, among others, is a fully equipped factory with a brewery, machines and tools. Knowledgeable guides will teach visitors the art of brewing and the history of the company in the 19th and 20th centuries closer.
