Ernst Eduard Wiltheiss

Ernst Eduard Wiltheiss ( born June 12, 1855 in Worms, † July 7, 1900 in Halle) was a German mathematician and founding member of the German Mathematical Society. Wiltheiss of research was devoted to the hyperelliptic and Abelian functions.

Life

After studying mathematics at the University of Giessen and the University of Berlin, he obtained his doctorate at July 5, 1879 with the dissertation " The reverse of a group of systems of general hyperelliptic differential equations ". On April 25, 1881 he was habilitated at the United University Halle-Wittenberg.
