Ernst Erwin Oehme

Ernst Erwin Oehme ( born September 18, 1831 in Dresden, † October 10, 1907 in Bubble joke ) was a German painter.

Life

Oehme was the son and pupil of the landscape painter Ernst Ferdinand Oehme. He attended the Dresden Art Academy and was an honorary member in 1864. He then worked for a short time under Ludwig Richter and then formed on study trips to Germany, Switzerland, England and France continued.

He painted in oil and watercolor, landscapes first, then architectures, genre paintings and portraits. He also pointed out some decorations for the Dresden Court Theatre; as he painted in water colors, a number of wallpaper, in which he imitated ancient tapestries effectively.

His view is poetic, but sometimes wanders to the Sweetish and Spruce.

Dresdner Galerie Neue Meister has a work of Oehme quarry in Saxon Switzerland (1860 ). There was also an album of Queen Carola of Saxony with views of Compiègne.

Oehme died 1907 in bladder joke. His grave is located on the St. John's Cemetery.
