Ernst Fischer (composer)

Ernst Fischer ( born April 10, 1900 in Magdeburg, † July 10, 1975 in Locarno - grave in the cemetery Ronco / s Ascona ) was a German composer. He composed operettas, film music, orchestral suites, songs and piano works and was known for his contributions to advertisements of popular music.

From 1916 to 1922 he was a student at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt and at the Stern Conservatory in Berlin.

From 1926 he was in Berlin silent film organist, and author of Cinema counters Piecen. In the 1930s, Fischer became a popular radio composer whose concert pieces were also enjoyed playing on the boardwalk and Kurka Pellen.
