Ernst Gaber

Ernst Gaber ( born June 6, 1907 in Mannheim, Baden- Württemberg, † August 13, 1975 ) was a German rower, who took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1928, 1932 and 1936.

In 1928, he took his team to fifth place. 1932 won the German rowing team Karl Aletter, Walter Flinsch and John Doe with him in the coxless four the silver medal. At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin took the team, consisting of Hans Maier, Walter Volle, Paul Söllner and Friedrich Bauer gold medal in the coxed four in a time of 7:16.2 minutes.

Gaber was a member of the Mannheim rowing club Amicitia 1876.
