The airport Eros (English Eros Airport ) is the national airport of the Namibian capital Windhoek.
Under visual flight conditions Eros can also be used as an alternate airport for the Hosea Kutako International Airport, but only aircraft can land safely in Eros up to the size of a Boeing 737.
At Eros airport is also the main point of the Namibian Aviation Academy Namibian Aviation Training Academy ( NATA ).
Traffic
Eros is the airport with the most flight movements in Namibia. It is used primarily by regional scheduled flights of the state Air Namibia, as well as private pilots and charter airlines with smaller planes. Since the flight year 2002/2003 the number of passengers at the airport to move between almost 100,000 (2002/ 03) and 65,000 (2009 /10).
Airlines and connections
Air Namibia offers - flights to and from Ondangwa, Walvis Bay, as well as to and from Mpacha ( Katima Mulilo ) and Rundu - mostly daily.
Westair Wings Charters operates daily flights to Rosh Pinah, Wilderness Air daily all properties in the group operator Wilderness Safaris in many parts of Namibia.
