Pothos (Greek Πόθος " desire " ) is in the Greek mythology, the brother of Eros.

In the tradition of Apuleius Cupid is moved to the last successful connection back with the lovely Psyche (Greek soul) from Earth. He let his brother lead Pothos dominion over the people.
