Erpfting

Erpfting is a district of Landsberg am Lech in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech, with about 1500 inhabitants and is located west of the city at an altitude of 617 m above sea level. NN.

Until the municipal reform in 1978 the place was an independent municipality with Ellighofen. Erpfting has its own volunteer fire department, a kindergarten and a primary school.

In the district Erpfting the European Holocaust memorial is under the management of the civic association Landsberg in the 20th century. The memorial was handed over to the European Holocaust Memorial Foundation in 2009.

By Erpfting leads the old Roman road Via Claudia Augusta State.
