Erschmatt
Erschmatt is a district of Leuk in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais in Switzerland.
It was until December 31, 2012, a municipality in the district of Leuk. The community joined on 1 January 2013 the municipality Leuk on.
Geography
Erschmatt is located in the mountains Leuker sun on the dry southern slopes of the main valley of Valais. For the former municipality, the hamlet Brentschen part ( 1542 m).
Architecture
The Village of Erschmatt is of national importance. 2008 received the association " Adventure World rye Erschmatt » Raiffeisen price of Oberwalliser homeland security. 2013 Herbert Lötscher built the world's first residential building after the sun house concept Heliodom.
