Ervin Skela

Ervin Skela ( born November 17, 1976 in Vlora, Albania ) is a former Albanian football player who also owns the Italian passport.

Career

After the stations KS Flamurtari Vlora and Tirana SK Skela moved in 1995 to 1 FC Union Berlin in the German Regionalliga. There he played until 1997 and then moved to the then also third-rate FC Erzgebirge Aue.

In 1999, he played for the Chemnitz FC in the 2nd Bundesliga, for whom he met eleven times in 50 games by the end of 2000. During this time he also debuted in the Albanian national team. The second round 2000/ 01 he spent at SV Waldhof Mannheim, at the beginning of the season 2001/ 02 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt.

With the people of Frankfurt, where with ten goals he was top scorer in the 2002/03 season, he rose in 2003 to the 1st Bundesliga. 2003/ 04 he was with eight goals again internal scorer, but could not prevent the immediate re descent.

Then he moved to Arminia Bielefeld and again a year later, in 2005, 1 FC Kaiserslautern. After descending from the 1st League in 2006, he left the Red Devils and has since played in the Italian first division club Ascoli Calcio. In January 2007 Skela signed a long-term contract (until 2009) at the Bundesliga Energie Cottbus. After the expiry of the contract period, he moved in October 2009 to second division TuS Koblenz. There, however, he could not prevent the descent of the club and received a new contract for the season 2010/11.

In January 2011, the unsigned Skela was committed by Germania Windeck. He had no use for Windeck and moved in March 2011 to Poland to Arka Gdynia, for which he made ​​his debut on 11 March 2011 when he came off the bench in the league game against Gornik Zabrze in injury time for Tadas Labukas. In this application, followed by a total of four more before Skelas contract expired after the season and was not renewed. In the summer of 2011, he ended his playing career.

In the Albanian national team Skela was a regular player over eleven years and played a total of 75 matches. He was elected in 2008 to the " Player of the Year " in Albania.
