Erwin Kohlund

Erwin Kohlund ( born December 23, 1915 in Dortmund, † February 29, 1992 near Zurich ) was a German actor and theater director.

The son of actor, theater artist and director of the Stadttheater Bern (1947-1953) Kohlund Ekkehard and his wife Anna Helene born Theiss attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. He received his first engagement in 1937 at the Municipal Theatre of Opava. After that he played in Meiningen and in the season 1939/40, in Karlsruhe.

In 1940 he moved to Switzerland. He acted here at the Stadttheater Luzern and later in Zurich. Kohlund, who in 1938 participated in a Swiss short film, in 1941 known as Sali Manz in the novel adaptation of Romeo and Juliet to the village by Gottfried Keller. His co-star Margrit winter he married in 1943.

After that, he was mostly just supporting actors in various films. Only in money and spirit of Franz Schnyder, he was again the male lead role as a partner of his wife. From 1956 to 1985, he directed nine times the Tellspiele in Altdorf UR, 1960, he directed a performance of the great world theater in Einsiedeln. His children Franziska Kohlund ( * 1949 ) and Christian Kohlund ( b. 1950 ) was also an actor.
