Erwin Mulder

Erwin Mulder ( born March 3, 1989 in Zevenaar, Gelderland) is a Dutch football goalkeeper. He's since the 2007/08 season at Feyenoord Rotterdam under contract.

Career

For the season 2007/ 08 Mulder moved from his own youth in the professional squad of Feyenoord. His debut in the Eredivisie he gave on December 2, 2007, in the 6-0 win against Heracles Almelo. But he could not at first succeed as number 1 and was loaned the following season at local rivals Excelsior Rotterdam in the Eerste Divisie. After a year in the second division squad Eredivisie Feyenoord returned, he was able to gradually establish itself as regular keeper and claim.

Until the end of 2013 Erwin Mulder came to 103 appearances for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie; came to several games in the KNVB Cup and the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. His biggest game so far in the Dutch football classics ( De Klassieker ) against Ajax Amsterdam lost the Cup final in 2010. Moreover, he was part of the team that won the Cup in 2007/ 08, but came to no use in the competition. For Excelsior Mulder ran 36 times to the Eerste Divisie.

In spring 2012, Erwin Mulder was appointed to the extended squad of the Dutch national football team for the European Championship.
