Erzsébet Házy

Erzsebet Hazy (* Pressburg / Bratislava on 1 October 1929; † November 24, 1982 in Budapest, Hungary) was a Hungarian soprano.

Life

Your vocal training she learned at the National Conservatory of Budapest by Géza László. Before she came to the Hungarian State Opera in 1951, she sang in the choir broadcast by Radio Budapest. Her first role was at the State Opera of Page Oscar in Un Ballo in maschera by Giuseppe Verdi.

On the opera stage, she sang a variety of coloratura as of lyric roles in operas by Mozart, Puccini, Donizetti, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Wagner and Richard Strauss, including Cherubino in ' The Marriage of Figaro ', which Norina in " Don Pasquale ' the bellboy Oscar in Verdi's Ballo in maschera ', the Mimi in ' La Bohème ' and Lisa in " Pique Dame '.
