Escalante River

The Escalante River is an approximately 145 km long tributary of the Colorado River in the south of the U.S. state of Utah. It rises in the west of Garfield County, flows in Escalante through the Dixie National Forest, then east through the Grand Staircase- Escalante National Monument, until it empties into the Colorado River.
