Eschenbach, Lucerne

Eschenbach is a municipality in the constituency high village of the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland.

Geography

The municipality is located 9 kilometers north of Lucerne on a terrain threshold between Reuss Valley and Lake Valley. Well as the village include numerous groups of houses and farmsteads to the community.

The neighboring municipalities are Ballwil, Buchenrain, Emmen, high village, Inwil, Rain and Rothenburg.

Population

The population grew in the first half of the 19th century rapidly. Then it stagnated until 1900 with around 1,200 inhabitants. Until the mid-20th century was a steady, slow growth. Traffic

The village is situated as the hamlet of Blatten on the main road Luzern- Lenzburg. History
