Escher-Museum

The Escher Museum (Escher in het Paleis ) is a museum in the historic center of The Hague, Netherlands, with the works of the Dutch graphic artist MC Escher. The museum was opened on 16 November 2002.

The museum is in a former palace (Lange Voorhout Paleis ) housed in the 18th century, in which the Queen Emma lived until 1891. The museum offers a variety of private photos, printing and working sketches that convey an impression of how the artist designed area fills and impossible geometries. In addition, a multimedia journey through the world of Escher (The Escher Experience) is offered.

Ceiling lighting

In the rooms of the museum are 15 chandeliers, who prepared the Rotterdam artist Hans van Bentem.
