Escondido Valley AVA

Escondido Valley AVA ( recognized since 15 May 1992) is an American Viticultural Area in the U.S. state of Texas. The area is located in Pecos County. It is the fifth overall designation of origin, which was awarded in Texas for the cultivation of wine. The area covers an area of ​​12,900 hectares in theory, but is hardly planted with vines.
