Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (Mexico)

The Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP ) was established on February 1, 1868 as directed by the President of Mexico and is the "National Preparatory School " of obtaining a university entrance qualification. The ENP is one of the schools of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM). The school motto is " Amor, Orden y Progreso " (Eng.: love, order and progress ).

Location

The Directorate General is located in the former building of the Colegio de San Ildefonso in the historic center (Centro Histórico ) from Mexico City and has a total of nine field offices in Mexico City, all named after famous personalities:

Education

A total of two school activities are offered. The branch with one aspect of the university and a training period of three years is only offered in the branch office 2 " Erasmo Castellanos Quinto ". The training necessary to obtain the Bachilleratos on branch 2 also lasts three years and is conducted in all nine branch offices. These four training areas are distinguished: "Physics, Mathematics and Engineering", " Biology and Health Sciences ", "social sciences " and " humanities and arts".

The ENP conducts regular student exchange programs, particularly with the United States.

Chamber Orchestra of the ENP

1972 was founded by Uberto Zanolli the Symphony Orchestra of the ENP, which is currently headed by Luis Samuel Saloma.
