Església de Sant Miquel d'Engolasters

Sant Miquel d' Engolasters is a Romanesque church in the town of Les Escaldes in Andorra.

This church from the 12th century has a rectangular nave, a roof with two different tilt angles and a semicircular apse with a cap. The building is distinguished by its architectural simplicity and the mismatch between the ship and bell tower. The bell tower is 17 meters high. Inside the church reproductions of Romanesque wall paintings by the Master of Santa Coloma from the 12th century can be seen. The originals of the works of art are in the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya ( MNAC in Barcelona).

The church is Grade II listed and protected since June 12, 2003 on the basis of the law Llei del Patrimoni cultural d' Andorra.
