Esil

Jessil ( Kazakh Есіл; Russian Есиль ) is a city in Kazakhstan.

Geographical Location

The city is located in the area Aqmola on the right bank of the river Ishim. Jessil is an important railway junction with connections to Astana, Arqalyq and Kartaly.

Population

Jessil has 13,591 inhabitants (2008 ).

History

1963 got Jessil granted town rights.
