Esnagami Lake

The Esnagami Lake is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the Canadian province of Ontario.
The Esnagami Lake is located 100 km east-northeast of Nipigonsees in the area of the Canadian Shield. The lake has a length in the east-west direction of 19 km, an area of about 73 square kilometers and lies at an altitude of 303 m. In the eastern part of the lake there are three larger islands: Louella Iceland, Bill Iceland, Iceland Ara. The Esnagami River, a right tributary of the Little Current River, drains the lake on the northeastern shore.
The settlement Nakina is located 15 km south-east of the lake. The Esnagami Lake is a target of fishing tourists, mainly catch here walleye and pike. The lake is a so-called fly- in lake, because it has no road connection.
