Esnandes
Esnandes is a commune with 2076 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Charente -Maritime in the Poitou -Charentes.
Location
The municipality is situated on the Atlantic coast, ten kilometers north of La Rochelle.
History
The village was mentioned in the year 920 the first time in a document.
Attractions
The church of Saint -Martin, built in the 11th and 12th century, into a fortress in the 14th century. She is since 1840 a monument historique.
