Espen Beranek Holm

Espen Beranek Holm ( born March 23, 1960 in Oslo) is a Norwegian rock musician and comedian.

Life

Beranek began his musical career as a clarinetist, later he played guitar, bass and synthesizer. In the 1970s, he performed with various small bands. In 1981 he debuted with the single Dra te hælvete, which was sold 18,000 times. In the same year followed by the synth - pop album Sound of Danger. For the album X - Ray (1983 ) he was awarded the Spellemannprisen.

In 1994 he played the music for the feature film Galskap one. After he had worked in the 1980s on the television series end happy hour and Videospeilet, he joined in the 1990s in the satirical program Hello i Uken on the Norwegian broadcasting as an impersonator and satirist. In 1998 he wrote the music for the musical 1000 år og like blid of Are Kalvø, who was program director of the series at the time. After 2000, he joined the comedian Rune Andersen on in the programs Rune Andersen Ligner ikke grisen (2000/ 2001) and hurray for Andersen ( 2004).
