View to the Southeast

Esslingen is a village in the municipality of political Egg am Pfannenstiel in the canton of Zurich, about 15 km southeast of the city of Zurich. To include the districts Esslingen Oberesslingen and low Esslingen, Rotblatt and Inner and Ausservollikon. Esslingen used the coat of arms of Egg.

The Forchbahn (S 18 the S-Bahn Zurich ) has its terminus in Esslingen and connects the village directly to the center of Zurich.

In Esslingen is the nursing home community of Egg, the Loogarten.
