Estación Rincón is a village in Uruguay.
Geography
It is located on the territory of the department of Treinta y Tres in its sector 3 in the Cuchilla Cerro Largo. Nearest major settlements are the towns Vergara in the southwest and Arrozal Treinta y Tres in the southeast. The Arroyo Sarandi Grande runs south to Estación Rincon, whose economic base in rice cultivation is past. To the north runs the Arroyo de la Teja, a right-side tributary of the Río Tacuarí. To the east of the village lies the source of the Arroyo Sarandi Chico.
Infrastructure
By Estación Rincón leads the Ruta 18 and the railway line Montevideo - Rio Branco with a breakpoint of the AFE.
Population
Estación Rincón had female in the census in 2011 674 inhabitants, of which 331 male and 343.
