The Algarve Stadium is a football stadium of the Portuguese city of Faro and Loulé.

History

It was the venue of two group matches and one quarter-final at the European Football Championship 2004. The stadium holds 30,000 spectators and was officially opened on 23 November 2003. The stadium was built by the architect, Damon Lavelle is jointly owned by the municipalities of Faro and Loulé. The Algarve Stadium is located in the Cities' Park on the border between the two cities. It was the southernmost venue for the European Championship 2004.
