U-20 World Cup Women 2008

The Estadio Municipal de La Florida ( German: Municipal Stadium of La Florida) is a stadium in the Chilean municipality of La Florida, a suburb of the capital, Santiago de Chile. It was opened in 1986 and reached 8,500 spectators.

As the stadium was selected in 2007 as a venue for the U-20 World Cup Women 2008, found this place extensive renovation project. The seating capacity was increased to 12,000 places. On 12 November 2008, the stadium was re-opened.

Currently it is primarily used as a football stadium. The football club Audax Italiano plays its home games from here.
