The Municipal Stadium ( Estádio Cidade de Coimbra Portuguese ) is a football stadium in the Portuguese city of Coimbra.

It was the venue of two preliminary games in the European Football Championship 2004. The stadium holds 30,000 spectators and was officially opened on 27 September 2003. The stadium was built by the architect António Monteiro is owned by the city. The stadium is covered two-thirds and was newly built for the European Championship. Was located at the same place before the football stadium Estádio Municipal Built in 1940.

Apart from the football pitch, the stadium also has an athletics track, a swimming pool and the largest shopping center of the city. Officially opened the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra on 27 September 2003 with a Rolling Stones concert. The first football match was held between Académica Coimbra and Benfica Lisbon on 29 October 2003.
