The Estadio Beto Ávila is a baseball stadium in Cancun in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The stadium was opened in the 1980s.

Use

The Estadio Beto Ávila is primarily used for baseball games. The professional baseball team Tigres de Quintana Roo from the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol plays its home games at the stadium since 2007. Previously, it has already served their league rivals Langosteros de Cancún 1996-2005 as a venue.

The first modernization of the stadium took place in 1996 with the inclusion of Langosteros as LMB first franchise in the league on the orders of the then Governor of the State of Quintana Roo, Mario Villanueva, instead. After the Langosteros were resettled in 2005, the stadium stood still for two years before with the Tigres a new team of the highest Mexican Baseball League resumed its playing operations in Cancún. Then the Estadio Beto Ávila was renewed in 2006 and 2007 around its capacity from 4,500 to 9,500 seats more than doubled.
