Estadio Dr. Nicolás Léoz

The Estadio Dr. Nicolás Leoz, also called La Huerta ( German The Orchard ), is a stadium in the district Tuyucua in the northeast of the Paraguayan capital Asunción. The football club Libertad Asunción plays its home games from here.

It was opened in 2005 and today holds 10,000 spectators, including 5,000 seats. The stadium was named after the former club president and current president of Conmebol, Dr. Nicolás Leoz, named.

In March 2011, the premiere of the stadium in the Copa Libertadores with a 5-1 victory took Libertad against the Peruvian club CD Universidad San Martín de Porres in front of about 2300 spectators instead.
