Esther Schweins

Esther pig ( born April 18, 1970 in Oberhausen ) is a German actress and comedienne who is best known for her appearances in the television program RTL Saturday night.

Life

Pig spent her early years in Oberhausen. Later, her family moved to four home. She took acting lessons in Karlsruhe and Westfälische attended drama school for a year in Bochum. Here it was predicted no future. So she worked in the Bavaria Film Park in Bottrop. During this time she had her first major public appearance as a presenter of avant-garde fashion show kind couture. Then she stood a few times on stage before she was engaged for RTL Saturday night. She was part of the regular cast of the show and was a crowd favorite. Great success they had there with a parody of the former MTV presenter Kristiane Backer.

The comedy series was set in 1998. Pig played since main and supporting roles in numerous film and television productions. From 2002 to 2011 she hosted for the then ZDFtheaterkanal and 3sat for the magazine shows foyer and theater scenes.

Before the parliamentary elections of 2002 and 2005, the pig committed during the election campaign each publicly for the SPD.

In December 2004, she almost became victims of the tsunami in Asia in their vacation in Sri Lanka. She and her mother have been swept away by a tsunami wave, but this have survived reasonably unscathed. Under the impact of the event pig reduced their material possessions. It is committed to since the tsunami victims in Sri Lanka. They also gave up their permanent residence in Germany and lived temporarily with friends and in hotels. Since 2008 she has again a permanent resident in Mallorca.

In 2007, pig directed the play Caveman, which was performed in several German cities. Even with its sequel Hi Dad! in 2009, when they again directed, Kristian Bader was one of the performers.

Pig has a daughter (* 2007) and a son (* 2008).
