Estrellita Castro
Estrellita Castro ( born June 26, 1908 in Seville, † July 10, 1983 in Madrid, actually Estrella Castro Navarrete ) was a Spanish singer and actress.
After a first small film role in 1933, she succeeded in 1935 with a starring role in the film Rosario la cortijera entry into the film business. In Germany she turned in 1939 the film suspiros de España. As a singer she was a renowned interpreter of the copla Andaluza, a song form that enjoyed in Spain, especially in the 1940s popular. Carmen Sevilla was a member of their dance group.
