Eta Geminorum

Tejat Prior ( also Propus, originally Greek for " front foot " ) is the name of the star η Geminorum ( Eta Geminorum ).

Tejat Prior is a semi- regular variables of type My Cephei, whose brightness like with a period of 235 days between 3.24 and 3.96 may fluctuate.

Tejat Prior is an approximately 349 light years from the Sun distant red giant of spectral type M3.

Tejat prior can be covered as ekliptiknaher star from the moon, and (very rarely) by planets. The last eclipse of Tejat Prior by a planet took place on July 27, 1910 by the planet Venus, most recently, on July 11, 1837 by Mercury.
